Lake of the Woods provides some of the best waterfowl hunting in North America. We are in the middle of a fantastic flyway. Early shootings would include mallards, teal, wood ducks, ring bills, geese, pintails, and many more. Later ducks can include blue bills (both greater and lesser scaup), golden eyes, and buffleheads. Wild rice fields provide fantastic feeding areas for our hunting near by. In addition to the water fowl, we have a variety of grouse available. Ask about our cast and blast packages.

The Obabikon Lake area, with its hundreds of wild rice beds is a natural feeding ground for thousands of native wild ducks during the summer. These local ducks, combined with the northern flights from the Hudson Bay country, add up to the very reason that you should choose Obabikon for your next duck hunting trip.

Our close proximity to the hunting area means that Obabikon hunters get the first shot at the ducks without long early morning boat rides. It is a known fact that our section of Lake of the Woods because of the wild rice, holds the greatest concentration of puddle ducks.
