Obabikon Bay Resort has a long rich history of great fishing.  It has been a resort since the 1940’s, and had two trapper cabins since as early as 1905.

The 4 acre island is an 8 mile boat ride straight north from Hanson Bay in Morson, Ontario.

With two previous owners before them, Bill and Linda Amason purchased the resort in 1970.  Jared Amason, his wife Erin, and their three children are continuing the family atmosphere that he was raised in.  It has been ten years since the second generation took over, and they hope to continue to provide great service for families and fishermen alike.

Obabikon Bay is well known for phenomenal walleye, musky, northern, crappie, and small mouth bass.  The surrounding area truly has all that Lake of the Woods can offer.  Sheltered from bad winds, but planted squarely in the middle of great fishing.  They are undoubtedly a hidden gem in God’s Country.
