Lake of the Woods provides some of the best waterfowl hunting in North America. We are in the middle of a fantastic flyway. Early shootings would include mallards, teal, wood ducks, ring bills, geese, pintails, and many more. Later ducks can include blue bills (both greater and lesser scaup), golden eyes, and buffleheads.
